Small-Batch Handcrafted Sweets • 2741 Blaisdell Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55408
Current Kettle Repertoire

Six small-batch editions built around visual craft and a second-act twist.

Sweets with an unexpected twist you won’t find in an ordinary supermarket. We deliberately omit ingredient panels and flavor spoilers from our tins so every piece remains an honest guessing game: can you guess the flavor at first bite?

Cosmic Swirl Sphere Nebula Nocturne spherical lollipop with indigo swirls and suspended copper-gold filaments resting on dark slate
Edition No. 01 • Sculpted Sphere Lollipop on Birchwood

Nebula Nocturne Lollipop

Studio Story: Conceived during a sub-zero January week in Minneapolis when streetlamps lit the frost outside our Blaisdell window in violet and copper. It took fourteen test pours on our marble slab to keep the swirling filaments suspended mid-sphere without clouding the outer glass dome.

Visual Concept: A crystal-clear spherical dome encasing deep indigo-violet spiral currents, fine copper-toned sugar ribbons, and tiny opalescent pearl trails mounted on an unbleached birch stick.

Flavor Impression

First Bite: Brisk, twilight-dark berry brightness with a cool, high-note snap.
The Twist: Halfway through, the dark swirl gives way to a warm, gently toasted parlor depth and a clean, aromatic finish that lingers without heavy sweetness.

Ombré Color Transition Solstice Horizon pillow-shaped pulled candies shifting seamlessly from pale amber gold through burnt orange to translucent ruby garnet
Edition No. 02 • Hand-Pulled Gradient Pillow Drops

Solstice Horizon Drops

Studio Story: Inspired by late-October dusk settling across the lakes a mile west of our shop. We pull half the kettle batch sixty times over our wall hook until it gleams like raw silk, then jacket it inside clear ruby-amber glass so the color shifts softly inside every pillow cut.

Visual Concept: Beveled satin cushions transitioning smoothly from pale golden dawn at the center through burnt sienna to translucent garnet at the pinched edges.

Flavor Impression

First Bite: Crisp, sun-warmed orchard tang right on the tip of the tongue.
The Twist: As the clear garnet jacket dissolves into the pulled satin core, the brightness melts into a rich, caramelized autumn warmth with a dry, faintly savory-sweet close.

Geometric 12-Facet Cut Tessera Prism hexagonal faceted lollipops in emerald jade, smoky topaz, and crystal quartz sugar casting colorful shadows
Edition No. 03 • Faceted Hexagonal Lollipops

Tessera Prism Pops

Studio Story: A retired South Minneapolis cabinetmaker helped us true up custom brass mold frames after we sketched a lollipop for grown-ups that looked closer to cut mineral specimens in a museum drawer than anything sold near a supermarket checkout lane.

Visual Concept: Crisp twelve-faceted hexagonal flat prisms cast in jewel-clear emerald jade, smoky topaz, and clear quartz planes that throw stained-glass shadows across a tablecloth.

Flavor Impression

First Bite: Clean, upland-crisp botanical brightness—cool, structured, and refreshing.
The Twist: Beneath the sharp angles sits a rounded, gently roasted sweetness that grounds the palate and sparks friendly arguments around the table.

48-Stripe Pulled Ribbon Borealis Ribbon Twists delicate folded ribbon candy with celadon green, plum, ivory, and rose-copper stripes on parchment
Edition No. 04 • Thin Hand-Folded Satin Ribbons

Borealis Ribbon Twists

Studio Story: Classic holiday ribbon candy always looked festive in our grandparents’ candy dishes, yet every color tasted identical. We reworked the craft year-round in muted northern tones, giving alternating bands distinct flavor personalities before folding the warm strip by hand.

Visual Concept: Wafer-thin undulating ribbons striped with forty-eight micro-bands of celadon green, twilight plum, warm ivory satin, and burnished rose-copper.

Flavor Impression

First Bite: Delicate, glass-crisp snap that releases a bright, garden-tart sparkle.
The Twist: Because the thin stripes dissolve at slightly different rates, a warm, velvety bakery note weaves in and out of the crisp tartness until the final crumb.

Dual-Ring Concentric Eclipse and Amber flat concentric medallion lollipops with dark spun center and glowing honey-amber rim beside an espresso cup
Edition No. 05 • Two-Stage Concentric Disc Lollipop

Eclipse & Amber Medallions

Studio Story: Developed after a regular neighbor asked for an evening confection that could sit beside an espresso cup or an after-dinner digestif without tasting childish. We pour the dark spun core first, then cast a glowing amber halo around it thirty seconds later.

Visual Concept: Wide flat medallions pairing a matte charcoal-espresso spun center with a luminous honey-gold outer ring threaded with fine crimson hairlines.

Flavor Impression

First Bite: The outer amber halo greets you with bright, tangy-golden warmth and a subtle brisk edge.
The Twist: Once you reach the dark inner medallion, a deep, slow-roasted richness steps forward—creating two distinct flavors that fuse together mid-lollipop.

Cross-Section Mosaic Glasshouse Mosaic square beveled hard candy cubes showing stained-glass geometric cross-sections in teal, ochre, ruby, and ivory
Edition No. 06 • Cut Architectural Sugar Cubes

Glasshouse Mosaic Cubes

Studio Story: Traditional lettered rock candy uses tiny sugar rods to spell seaside town names. We borrowed that centuries-old log-building method and turned it toward mid-century stained glass, stacking triangular and rectangular rods into bold geometric tiles that run all the way through every cube.

Visual Concept: Glossy beveled square drops revealing sharp internal mosaics of deep teal, warm ochre, ruby glass, and pulled ivory—individually twisted in clear confectionery cellophane.

Flavor Impression

First Bite: Playfully deceptive—while the cool teal tiles suggest something icy, the opening note lands warm, tangy, and gently spiced.
The Twist: Finishes with a sudden, mouth-watering crispness that leaves the palate clean and curious for another cube.
